Car design as a special interest I have set-up this site, to share my thoughts about beautiful designed cars. I know you might think other wise about what you think are great cars or automobiles, but just let me take you through my mind, and show you how my eyes look at some great auto design and concept cars!
The Cars and pictures you can find in the Design and Cars menu
Models and Manufacturers like Mercedes and Jaguar, Porsche and BMW. But also Motorcycles and some strange Car names like The invicata S1 or the Saleen S7!
All of them have this special feeling about them that makes people turn their heads, just to see them drive by...
Today I found a great addition for the productbook component, which as a very pleasant suprise, since I am very busy with other projects and website building for customers.
The Productbook menu module
The Module of Phoca can be seen active on the right site, and will display all categories and sub-categories defined and published in the productbook component.

The only problem I had with istallation was that I was missing the images, but from the upzipped package you can upload them with your mediamanage right into the images folder of Joomla itself.

New Productbook version running under Safer settings
The new productbook version now runs with full security settings on.
That means you can run it with PHP register_globals setting set to 'OFF' and also with RG_Emulation set to 'Off'.
This was one of the mayor works to get done, on wich a lot of thanks goes to Gilles Pennequin of France.
He did the most part of the conversion of productbook to a sefer mode. He also wrote a nice feature in to upload multiple product pictures via a zip file.
The zip file of course filled with the product pictures.
So a BIG Thank you for his work goes to him for doing this and sharing it!
Car Design TV
Car Design Mag TV was started in February 2006 by car designer Cor Steenstra.
Steenstra felt there was a need among car designers for a more dedicated web site giving specialized information on car design in a non-static, more in-depth way.
Design Podcasting The developments in PodCasting offered a new opportunity to turn this into reality. All Podcast can be downloaded or obtainded via Rss Feed.

Fix for Categorie editing goes into endless loop
It recentrly came to my attention that ther was a Bug in the Productbook component < 1.0.3 that gets into an endless loop if you edit a categorie and select a categorie that is the same categorie.
That means if you already have one categorie and you start to edit it, you could select that categorie, or one on a higher level, to make it its own parent.
The easy way to fix this is to deinstall the component and install version 1.0.14 or higher
Unfortenatly if you already done this on an exiting installation you need to go into your PHPAdmin tool and change the faulty categorie back to the right toplevel.
