After the installation, you find the component menu under Components.

You have four options in this menu:

Lets start with the most important one, Configuration.

Productbook Configuration Options

Once you opened the configuration screen you get losts op options.
All you need to do to get started is look and set the options the way you would like things to appear in your Front-End.

N.b. Most Fields have descriptions for their functions next to them.

General Settings

We start with the location of the Images, this means the path where the Images are uploaded and created, if you want an other locations, you can changes the path setting here.

For instance if you want the originals stored in you standard media directory you should change to first path, but make sure it has the right access to work with.
The directory should be set to 707.

Thumbnails Settings

These are the most important setting, as these are used by the component to create the images displayed in your productbook, and the thumbnails.
If you change these setting after you publised some products, the images are not recreated!.

Important: Please set these values right, before you get to work with your products!!

Max Quality for Thumbnails is a setting used for the creation, normally you can keep this between 75 and 90%, this has a direct impact on the size of your thumbnails and thus on the loading time of your product category pages.

Max Filesize for Images is used to make sure you do'nt load BIG Bmp files or very large images.
If your really need to, you can change this value, but for most pictures I found this to be working just fine.

If you find you cannot upload any pictures, please check the size, as there is currently no warning that the picture is to Big for uploading...sorry.

Frontend Configuration Settings

On this Tab you choose the options for you Frontend output of Productbook.
