1948 Porsche 356 Coupe and Cabriolet

In 1948 the first Porsche 356 was introduced as a Coupé and a Cabriolet version.

A contract with the Volkswagen factory ensured that cooperation and service was handeld via the VW Dealer network. The model ran rom 1948 until 1965.

The international sportscar carrier of the 356 took off after its win in the 24-hours of LeMans.

Until 1951 the body was made of Aluminium.

The image below is the 1956 version. This was the final version of the 1300 and 1600 and S-versions as of 1951.
